The pulp and paper industry plays an important role in South Africa as it ranks amongst the top export industries in the country and as a result is highly competitive.  A total of 33 pulp and paper mills produce approximately 5.6 million tons of pulp and paper annually.

Since 2004, Crickmay has managed the implementation and monitoring of the Road Transport Management System (RTMS)  with one of the largest groups within this sector, representing approximately 35% of the total industry production.  During our involvement the first commercial fleet of vehicles obtained RTMS accreditation and continues to outperform all other fleets.
