Social Concern

At Crickmay, we believe in making a difference, not only to our clients, the industries we work in, our staff, but also the community around us. We believe that with a little investigation time and money we can make a difference in the lives of the people around us. Our staff is encouraged to get involved with social projects.

The projects are chosen on the provision that:

The staff must be involved themselves
The projects is supported and supervised by the project 'owner'
A project plan is drawn up and accepted

A few months ago we saw a need to equip our social project co-ordinator, Philemon Nxele, with a bakkie to enable him to transport materials and tools needed to perform the various tasks needed in his position. The bakkie, which was purchased in April 2010, has been equipped with a metal frame to facilitate the transport of items such as timber planks, ladders, etc. and has been fitted with a lockable metal tool box.
