We are thrilled to announce our rebranding from Transport Monitoring System to Logistics Monitoring System (LMS). Based on feedback from our customers and stakeholders, we have expanded our focus from visibility to encompass six additional pillars: efficiency, reliability, risk, cost, trade, and societal impact. Our new name reflects the comprehensive nature of our endeavors as we leverage heavy motor vehicle monitoring, vessel data, port information, traffic-related incidents, and other logistics-related activities to benefit both our users and society as a whole. With these new pillars, we are better positioned to meet your logistical needs with even greater effectiveness.

LMS Pillars of Focus:

Our LMS system is now in its third version and has evolved from a custom-developed reporting platform originally commissioned by several organizations, including USAID, World Bank, Trademark Southern Africa (TMSA), and the Africa Transport Policy Program (SSATP). It was initially known as the Truck Monitoring System (TMS) and then the Transport Monitoring System, with the assistance of these organizations and more recently the South African Association of Freight Forwarders (SAAFF), we have been able to create an intermodal view of logistics in Southern Africa and the movement of goods from points of entry through bottlenecks to final destinations. A concept that will be expanded to other logistics networks in Africa.

At Crickmay & Associates, we want to thank our clients, partners, and resellers for their valuable support and patronage of our product TMS thus far. We assure you that despite the name change, our commitment remains the same. We invite you to visit our new website at www.logistics-monitoring.com to learn more about our services and discover an improved user interface.
